Used cars · Tipton, West Midlands
One car at a time, sold the way I'd want one sold to me. Sensible money for something that starts, drives and has an MOT on it — and everything I know about it goes in the advert, including the scrapes I could easily have photographed from the other side.

Say how it went. Good or bad — a review that only ever says nice things is worth nothing to the next person reading it.
What I'll tell you
Buying a cheap car off someone usually means taking their word for it. This is what goes in writing instead — and the last two matter most, because you shouldn't have to take my word for any of it.
Anything you want to check before you travel, ask. I'd rather answer twenty questions than have you drive an hour for nothing.
The actual date, not "long MOT" or "just been through". You can check it against the DVLA record before you come.
A picture of the odometer, and the mileage history is on the government MOT site for you to compare against.
How many keys there are, and whether the V5C is present and in my name. No surprises on the day.
Scrapes, dents, warning lights, service gaps. If I know about it, it's in the description and there's a picture of it.
Start it from cold, look underneath, take it round the block, bring someone who knows cars. Take as long as you want.
MOT and mileage history are free at gov.uk, and an HPI check costs a few pounds. Do both before you hand over any money — to me or to anyone else.
I sell cars as a business, so the Consumer Rights Act 2015 applies: a car has to match its description and be of satisfactory quality for its age, mileage and price. Buy the same car privately and you'd get none of that.
Before you buy
There's no warranty on a car at this money and I'm not going to pretend otherwise. What you get instead is everything I know about it, written down and photographed before you commit — which is worth more than a warranty nobody honours.
Come and see it, start it cold, drive it, and bring someone who knows cars. Once you've seen it and bought it, that's the deal done.
I can't sign away your statutory rights, and I wouldn't want a website that claimed I had. Because I sell as a trader, the Consumer Rights Act 2015 applies whatever any notice says: a car has to be as described and of satisfactory quality for its age and price. If one genuinely isn't, the law is on your side and so am I.
Selling your car
I'll buy most things that run, and plenty that don't. Send the registration and rough mileage and you'll get a straight figure back — no inspection theatre, no dropping the price on the driveway.
Come and see it
Message first and I'll sort a time that suits, including evenings and weekends. Delivery can be arranged if you're too far to travel — ask and I'll price it up.
Cars are kept at home rather than on a forecourt, so the address goes out once a viewing is arranged rather than sitting on a page for anyone to read.
